Kanika Havelia

Kanika is a senior leader at PayPal, where she leads finance modernization, risk management, and lead AI-driven change. Before joining PayPal, she spent more than 16 years at KPMG Consulting, working with top executives on preparing companies to go public, managing mergers, and improving financial operations. She also led P&L of one of KPMG’s top five national portfolios. She's known for using new technologies—especially AI—to drive change at some of the world’s largest companies.

Kanika has an engineering degree and an MBA in finance and strategy, giving her a strong foundation at the intersection of technology and business.

She is a recognized thought leader who has given a TEDx talk on human-centered AI, given keynotes at global conferences, taught at top universities, and written papers on the future of finance and technology.

Her contributions have earned her the KPMG Award of Distinction for innovation and the 2024 Outstanding Women Award, which celebrates women executives for exemplary leadership.

Kanika serves on the Board of the American Lung Association and is AI Committee Chair for the Technology Association of Oregon, where she mentors tech and finance startups.
